RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — UPDATE: Lucy Sanders Hunt was found safe, according to deputies.

The Randolph County Sheriff's Office is searching for an 84-year-old woman reported missing Monday from her Asheboro home.

Lucy Sanders Hunt reportedly left her residence on Gardengate Road between 11 a.m. and noon driving a dark gray 2019 Honda CR-V with North Carolina plate TEZ-1373.

The vehicle has a large green frog sticker on the bottom left of the rear glass. It is unknown what Hunt was wearing at the time she left, deputies said.

Hunt is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds, and has gray-blonde hair, brown eyes, and wears glasses.
