Australia Post has confirmed it will resume postal services to the United States and its overseas territories following a temporary suspension in response to import tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump.

The postal giant said it will allow business parcels to be shipped the US and territories such as Puerto Rico, Guam and the US Virgin Islands on or before Thursday September 25.

In an announcement, Australia Post said it is now working with a service known as Zonos, which is one of a limited number US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Universal Postal Union third-party providers.

It will work with Zonos to bring back postal services to the US for Australia Post My Business Contract and My Post Business customers to meet the new postal rules.
