Early Bird Vegan, a popular Black woman-owned vegan restaurant, announced in an Instagram post that it will soon be closing. Chef Krystal Mack shared in a video posted to Instagram that the restaurant's lease was up at the end of September.

"It’s bittersweet, but we are so grateful for every moment, every meal, and every memory we’ve shared with you here," read the Instagram post caption. "This isn’t goodbye, it’s a new beginning."
