BEAUREGARD PARISH, La. (KPLC) - During Monday night’s Beauregard Parish School Board meeting, the parish tried to decide what to do with the rest of the 2023 bond funds.

Superintendent Larry Hollie presented ideas to the board on what they can do with $550,000 of it.

“If you have something specific at your school or in your community that we need to consider, get it to me so that next month I can present this to us and we can vote and finish the 2023 bond and just kind of get our projects in order,” Hollie said.

Hollie said he has received multiple complaints about issues with the South Beauregard High School athletic complex. He’d like to use $240,000 of those funds towards correcting that.
