Penn-Trafford (2-2-1, 2-0) may not have gotten the results in non-conference play that the team hoped for, but Class 4A Section 1 play has kicked off with a bang for the Warriors.

Freshman Ellie Lebe scored three goals to record a hat trick in the Warriors’ 11-0 win Monday against Hempfield (0-5, 0-2).

“She opened up and scored in the first two minutes,” Penn-Trafford assistant Dennis Brown said about Lebe. “She just found the opening, took the shot and started ripping it into the corner.”

Senior Emilie Oslosky added two goals while seven players – Anna Coy, Ava Oslosky, Aishlinn Connolly, Riley McIntosh, Kylee McClintock and Gabriella Geary – added tallies to the score sheet.
