Bill Kelty, one of the country’s most prominent trade unionists, is stepping down from the board of Linfox, the logistics giant owned by Lindsay Fox.
But Kelty, who became a Linfox director after resigning from the Australian Council of Trade Unions in 1999, said he never saw working for the billionaire Fox family “as shifting sides”. He had become friends with Fox during negotiations on behalf of the Transport Workers’ Union. Loading...
