A local Rotary Club recently created a scholarship in honor of a beloved Lattimore member who died earlier this year and honored its three remaining charter members who laid the groundwork for the creation of the club.
The Boiling Springs Area Rotary Club created a scholarship in memory of Will Corn, who drowned in Moss Lake in June, for high school students to attend Rotary’s annual Seminar For Tomorrow’s Leaders.
The Boiling Springs Area Rotary Club also honored its three remaining charter members in July by naming them as Paul Harris Fellows, one of the highest honors Rotary can bestow. The honorees are William K. Elliott, Clifford E. “Bud” Hamrick Jr., and A.P. “Buddy” Weathers Jr.
