SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - It’s a cool and breezy start to our Tuesday morning with drier air filtering in.

After starting out in the 60s, we’ll only climb to the 70s by lunchtime with highs in the lower 80s this afternoon. The northeasterly breeze will be present again today, with gusts over 20 miles per hour likely, especially along the coast.

A Coastal Flood Advisory will be in effect from 9AM -11AM. The river gauge at Fort Pulaski could briefly reach minor flood stage during this time. Dry weather continues for most of us with less humidity around, enjoy!

Minor coastal flooding will be possible again around 10AM and 11PM on Wednesday as the northeasterly wind remains persistent. This will continue to cause a risk for rip currently, along with prompting a Small Craft Advisory until 8 PM
