The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing and possibly endangered man.

Dale Jacob Higley, 47, a white man possible wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt with a tree service logo on the back was last seen on foot in the area of 15 ½ Mile Road and J Drive South in Fredonia Township at approximately 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7.

A Michigan State Police helicopter was deployed to assist in the search and has since cleared the area without locating Higley.

Residents are asked to review home security systems, doorbell cameras, and trail cameras for any possible sightings.
