The Government has unveiled a new league table that names and shames England's worst-performing NHS trusts.
Health Secretary Wes Streeting declared the initiative will identify where urgent assistance is required and help eliminate the "postcode lottery" of care, though experts have cautioned that hospitals serving more challenging areas could be unfairly criticised.
