CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio (WOIO) - Residents will vote Tuesday on whether or not to recall Mayor Kahlil Seren.

The mayor’s first term has been anything but quiet, featuring turnover including three city administrators, allegation of overreach by the mayor’s wife, claims of a toxic environment at city hall, and protests over alleged antisemitism.

The petition to recall Seren netted 4,425 signatures — 1,500 more than needed.

If Seren is recalled, Council President Tony Cuda would serve as mayor until Seren’s term ends.
