RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - A late-night crash on I-64 left one injured and caused major backups.

According to Virginia State Police, just after 11 p.m. Monday night, police were alerted of a crash on I-64 East at mile marker 191.

Police say it involved a tractor-trailer and a van. The trailer struck the guardrail in the area and spilled diesel fuel.

One passenger in the van was injured, but police say no one had any life-threatening injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
