A man has been shot dead in Brixton Hill, South London, following a violent incident on Monday evening. Police were alerted to reports of gunfire on Forster Road at approximately 8.50pm. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men who had sustained gunshot wounds.

One of the victims, a man in his 20s, was rushed to hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries in Accident and Emergency. The second man is reported to have injuries that are not life-threatening or life-changing.
