Man shot on Ruskin Avenue as Western District police investigate overnight gunfire

BALTIMORE, MD – A 37-year-old man was wounded early Monday after gunfire erupted on Ruskin Avenue, drawing a police response just after midnight in West Baltimore.

At approximately 12:46 a.m., Western District patrol officers reported hearing gunshots in the 2200 block of Ruskin Avenue. When they arrived, they found the man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Medics rushed the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released.
