Two British men have appeared in court in Indonesia accused of trying to smuggle cocaine into the country.
Kial Robinson, 29, and Piran Ezra Wilkinson, 48, are being held by Bali’s Narcotic Agency.
And if found guilty they could face being executed by firing squad or life in prison.
Robinson, who owns a landscape gardening business, was stopped at Bali International Airport on September 3 after taking a Turkish Airlines flight from Barcelona.
Security staff allegedly found a package containing 1.3kg of cocaine in his rucksack.
Wilkinson, a property manager, was arrested at a villa in the early hours of September 4. Made Dwi Saputra, spokesperson for Bali’s Narcotic Agency, said two British nationals had been arrested but did not confirm their identities.
