More storms with gusty winds expected this afternoon and evening.

Some could be severe over the eastern Plains.

Still warm the next few days with a few storms.

TUESDAY: Sunshine early this morning will give way to cloud cover and, eventually, storms. Rain chances are higher than yesterday, but gusty winds up to 40-45 mph remain the main threat, along with lightning. An isolated severe storm is possible over the eastern Plains this afternoon and again tonight, where large hail is also a threat. Highs are warm again in the 80s and 90s.

WEDNESDAY: Another sunny start followed by afternoon storms. Models seem to favor the southern I-25 corridor more with a stronger storm also possible. Highs will be a few degrees warmer.
