Black Sabbath’s last gig was a masterpiece of metal but Ozzy Osbourne’s final words to the guy who put it all together were a little brutal.

Tom Morello, 61, was the leading force behind the Back to the Beginning farewell — but he didn’t get special treatment from the icon.

Speaking to Loudwire, the guitarist for Rage Against the Machine revealed his last conversation with Osbourne before his death at 76.

‘The day is done,’ he recalled. ‘It’s been great, and people have been working on the show for a very long time, and we’re all hugging and crying. So we go to the afterparty and finally it’s mellow.
