OROVILLE — The first phase of the Rotary Club of Oroville’s project to light the west side of Table Mountain Bridge is near completion and the lights are expected to start shining by the new year.
The majority of the infrastructure — including installation of conduits, mounting racks, panels to block access to critical equipment, channeling for the individual LED light nodes, installation of 32 flood lights and the electrical panel — has been finished, according to Dean Gurr, project chairperson.
The remainder of the infrastructure which includes the controls that allow for “dynamic display” (i.e. light shows) as well as eight more flood lights for the bridge piers is expected to be done by the end of October, said Gurr.
