The family of a man who died in an A10 crash in Cambridgeshire has described him as a "loving husband and best friend". William Doherty, a 53-year-old from Littleport , died following a crash between Stretham and Chittering on August 15.

His family said in a tribute: "William Doherty was first and foremost a family man. To Susan, he was a loving husband and best friend, someone she could always count on.

"To his children Ewan, Hannah and Nathan, he was dad, the one who offered advice, shared laughter and showed his love in a thousand ways every day. He had a way of making people feel at ease with his kindness and steady presence.
