Tuesday’s forecast includes ‘excessive’ rain risk and active patterns

On Tuesday, showers and thunderstorms are very likely with rain chances at 80 percent.

Rainfall amounts could be between a half and three-quarters of an inch.

Temperature highs are in the mid-80s with east to northeast winds at 5 to 10 mph.

There is a high risk of rip currents across Volusia, Brevard and Indian River county beaches.

A moderate risk of rip currents is expected in St. Lucie and Martin counties.
