Charlie Brooker is taking a break from his “Black Mirror” duties with Netflix to embark on something a little different at the streamer: a four-part detective series.
Now in production, the ‘Untitled Charlie Brooker Project’ (unsurprisingly, a working title) is described in the logline as a “stunningly original crime thriller in which a tormented detective from the Northern city of Bleakford ventures down to London on a mission to catch a ritualistic serial killer before they run out of people to kill.” As it notes, the show: “Contains blood and frowning.”
