The Darkness guitarist Dan Hawkins has slammed the tribute to Ozzy Osbourne at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) as "another nail in the coffin of rock 'n' roll."
Yungblud, Aerosmith's Joe Perry and Steven Tyler, and Extreme's Nuno Bettencourt joined forces for a musical homage to the Black Sabbath legend - who died in July aged 76 - at the glittering ceremony at New York's UBS Arena on Sunday evening.
The 28-year-old performer kicked off the tribute with renditions of Crazy Train and Changes alongside Nuno on guitar, before the Aerosmith pair joined them for Mama, I'm Coming Home.
Following the performance, the foursome embraced whilst Yungblud declared: "Ozzy forever man!".
Nevertheless, the tribute failed to win over all viewers.
