Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker has landed his next Netflix project.
Brooker is behind an untitled four-part detective series starring House of the Dragon lead Paddy Considine , Game of Thrones star Lena Headey and Georgina Campbell , who worked with Brooker on Black Mirror’s “Hang the DJ” episode.
The show’s logline calls it a “profoundly serious, stunningly original crime thriller in which a tormented detective from the Northern city of Bleakford ventures down to London on a mission to catch a ritualistic serial killer before they run out of people to kill. Contains blood and frowning.”
The term “profoundly serious” is clearly being used tongue in cheek and Brooker’s quote about the show reads: “I’m beyond thrilled to be saying these words for the press release.
