Police have issued an urgent 999 appeal for a boy who has gone missing from his Coventry home. Mohamed, who is aged 13 was last seen around the Hillfields area of the city.

He is missing from his home and police say they are "concerned for his welfare." Anyone who spots him or knows where he could possibly be is asked to alert officers right away quoting the below reference number.

The appeal was shared by police on Coventry Police's social media channels on Tuesday afternoon. It includes an image of Mohamed which shows he has short curly hair.
