LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Tuesday, Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin announced one Medicaid fraud conviction and one Medicaid fraud arrest.

According to the AG, 53-year-old Shylee Earlette Hagler of Little Rock pleaded guilty to one charge of Medicaid fraud on August 26. As a result, she was sentenced to six months suspended imposition, a $150 fine, and a $297 restitution payment.

"Hagler claimed to have provided personal-care services to a Medicaid beneficiary in their home on several dates when the beneficiary had already been admitted as an inpatient at a local hospital," Griffin said.

Griffin also announced that 24-year-old Zariaeah Blake of Pine Bluff was arrested on one charge of Medicaid fraud on Sept. 4.
