ARKANSAS, USA — Hopebridge, one of the nation’s largest autism therapy providers, announced it will close its Arkansas centers this fall, citing a recent change in state law.

The company has locations in Bentonville, Hot Springs, and Little Rock. In a statement, the company said:

“After careful consideration and extensive evaluation, we have made the difficult decision to withdraw all Hopebridge Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy services from the state of Arkansas effective October 3, 2025.

A recent change in Arkansas law (Ark. Code Ann. §§ 20-78-201 to –220 ‘Child Care Facility Licensing Act’) now requires any ABA center that serves five or more unrelated children for five or more hours in a day or ten or more hours in a week to be license
