KNOX COUNTY, Maine — A 24-year-old New York woman was arrested after authorities say she attempted to drive into a U.S. Border Patrol agent and other law enforcement officers last month during a response to a rollover crash in Knox County.
The Department of Homeland Security said Olivia G. Wilkins was taken into custody Aug. 25 after the incident, which occurred as U.S. Border Patrol agents were assisting Maine State Police and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office at the scene of a commercial vehicle rollover crash, DHS said in a press release .
Two people who officials described as being in the country illegally were involved in the crash, the release stated.
