Kavan Markwood, the man who fell over the 21-foot right-field wall onto the field at PNC Park in April, returned to the baseball stadium for the first time since his fall.

The accidental tumble left the 20-year-old in critical condition, and play was paused in the bottom of the seventh inning of the Pirates-Cubs game several months ago.

The incident put Mr. Markwood in the national spotlight as he received an outpouring of support from people across the country — and the world.

In an interview with “Inside Edition” that aired Monday night, Mr. Markwood of McKeesport spoke about the harrowing incident back at the field where it all happened.

“I don’t know how I’m alive,” Mr. Markwood, who is seen wearing a cast on his arm, told “Inside Edition.” “I wake up with pain every day.”
