(WJET/WFXP) – Grant applications are now open for one local authority.

On Tuesday, September 9, the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority (ECGRA) announced that applications were officially open for the Parks, Fields, and Trails (PFT) grant.

The PFT grant is awarded to organizations and nonprofits that help rejuvenate parks and neighborhoods, along with creating opportunities that encourage both residents and tourists to head outside and enjoy what Erie has to offer.

Applications for the grant will close on November 30, 2025, and will be awarded sometime in December.

Perry Wood, executive director of ECGRA, noted the importance and success of the authority's grant funding that was awarded during the previous year.
