ANN ARBOR, MI — Artists from around Michigan and beyond are slated to descend upon downtown Ann Arbor, turning Main Street into an open-air gallery for a day.
Ann Arbor’s first-ever Street Art Encounter , presented by the Main Street Area Association, runs noon to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, featuring live mural painting, interactive art installations, live music, in-street dining and family-friendly activities.
“Street Art Encounter is about more than murals — it’s about connection,” Association Executive Director Ashley Schafer said in a statement. “We’re excited to welcome such a talented group of artists to Main Street and to create a space where art, music, dining and community all come together in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor.”
