SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department is looking for a man who’s wanted for domestic violence.

SPD officials say on Aug. 10, they were called by a woman who said her ex-boyfriend, Latravion Hinton, 27, hit her in the face when she showed up at his house to pick up their daughter.

Officers saw injuries on the victim that were visible on the officer’s bodycam video, SPD says. The victim reported to police that Hinton choked her and threatened to kill her while holding an AK-47, which he allegedly pointed at her while threatening her.

Police say Hinton was previously arrested Dec. 15, 2024 for domestic abuse battery involving the same victim.

SPD officers are actively looking for Hinton. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police immediately. Po
