The body of a man has been found at a Middlesbrough allotments site. The man's death is currently being treated as unexplained by officers following the discovery at Town Farm Allotments, off Cargo Fleet Lane, on Tuesday, September 9.
There is a large police presence in the area and the allotment site has been cordoned off by officers. A forensic team dressed in white hazmat suits can been seen gathering evidence at the site.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "Officers are currently at Town Farm allotments in the Cargo Fleet Lane area after a man’s body was found earlier today. Enquiries are in their very early stages and the man’s death is currently being treated as unexplained."
Detectives are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward. Cleveland Police office
