POST FALLS, ID – A four-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 resulted in one fatality on Monday, September 8, 2025. The Idaho State Police reported the collision occurred at approximately 4:03 p.m. near milepost 2.
A gray 2013 Toyota Prius, driven by a 58-year-old man from Livingston, Montana, crossed into the westbound lanes after failing to negotiate a curve. The Prius collided with a 2024 Volvo semi-truck, occupied by a 38-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman from Spokane, Washington.
The crash also involved a white 2019 Ford F350 pickup driven by a 23-year-old man from Spokane, and a white 2019 Toyota Tundra driven by a 34-year-old man from Priest River, Idaho. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.
The Prius driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No injuries were reported from the occup
