A pair of Rolex robbers picked the wrong 87-year-old as their target.

Police said the wannabe thieves tried to tip off the man's $48,000 watch near a New York City senior center.

"I twisted her pretty good, including her body, which I did. I use this battering ram against the inside of the cab. So I worked her over pretty good," Larry Schwartz said last week.

The 87-year-old described his Rolex throw-down against a woman who tried to steal his gold watch last Wednesday near East 23rd St and 3rd Avenue.

"They picked on the wrong person," he said. "People my age don't work out every day, and they haven't been working out since they were 14."
