GLENWOOD, Iowa —

The Glenwood, Iowa fire chief called a group of construction workers heroes for saving a family from a house fire.

The fire happened in a home just after noon Monday.

The fire chief said the crew helped get a family, including a mother, a daughter and grandmother, out of the home.

The son was still inside, so the fire chief said they dragged a trampoline under a window and the boy jumped out.

Three of the workers were taken to the hospital, and one received treatment for second-degree burns.
