A woman has been arrested in Montgomery on charges that she provided drugs to an inmate at the Kilby Correctional Facility.

According to court records, on June 14, 40-year-old Markesha Antwanette Hawkins of Eutaw intentionally and unlawfully provided the inmate “with any narcotic, dangerous drug or controlled substance.”

Hawkins is charged with attempting to commit a controlled substance crime, trespassing about a prison and promoting prison contraband.

She is being held on a $20,500 bond.
