PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- The restoration company that operated the Peoria Scottish Rite, TempleLive, appears to have shut down.

Reaching their website, a visitor is met with a blank, white screen with one phrase listed:

"Contact: inquiry@templelive.com"

This was a company that was excited to come to Peoria, as we reported in November, and then ended up leaving operations at the Scottish Rite as of about a week ago.

Robert Thomas, vice president of pon rogramming for the company, didn't answer the phone when WMBD called him last week. The same happened when he was called Tuesday.

TempleLive was created by Beaty Capital Group Inc. in 2017 in Fort Smith after a 2014 purchase of a masonic temple for $2.5 million.
