DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -- A Logan County man jailed after allegedly admitting to taking pictures of kids has received his sentence.
According to Judge Kevin Braig of the Logan County Court of Common Pleas, Terry L. Davis was sentenced to 16 years in prison on 25 counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, a fourth-degree felony.
The county prosecutor's office ultimately recommended the non-mandatory 16-year sentence.
On May 26, 2025, a bystander at a Memorial Day service saw Davis taking pictures of a young girl. A police officer was notified and then proceeded to approach Davis, who voluntarily relinquished his phone.
The officer looked through the phone and found "additional harmful photographs of children not affiliated with the parade."
