LYNDHURST, Ohio -- The South Euclid-Lyndhurst PTA and the League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland will host a candidates forum Sept. 15 in the Performing Arts Center of Brush High School, 4875 Glenlyn Road in Lyndhurst.

Residents will have the opportunity to meet candidates, hear their views and ask them questions.

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with South Euclid City Council Ward 1 candidates Chanell Elston and Mark McMillian.

This is the only South Euclid City Council contested race.

Elston is currently an at-large councilwoman, while McMillian was appointed Ward 1 councilman by City Council members in June.

McMillian was named to replace former Ward 1 councilwoman and council president Ruth Gray.
