BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) — A Bristol man was sentenced to six years in federal prison Tuesday for trafficking fentanyl and laundering funds received through a COVID-19 relief program, according to the Department of Justice.
Terry Collins, 31, supplied fentanyl to Gawayne Fisher, a man that was trafficking narcotics around Waterbury while on supervised release, according to court documents.
Collins, Fisher and two other associates were arrested in April 2023. On that date, a search of a Yale Street location in Waterbury revealed approximately three kilograms of loose fentanyl and approximately 75,000 individual bags containing fentanyl.
