CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) -- Crime Stoppers of Christian County is turning to the public for more details on a trio of recent thefts near Pana.

In a Facebook post Tuesday morning, the Christian County Sheriff's Office said that Crime Stoppers is seeking more information about recent thefts from storage units in the Pana area. The Pana Police Department has received multiple reports of thefts from these units, all resulting from entry being made by cutting the lock off of the door.

The first theft was reported on July 5 and took place at 404 N Garfield at Amercian Way. During this incident, hand tools and a banjo were stolen from this unit.

The second incident was reported on July 29 from the Stow-a-way Storage on 12 N State Street, in which unknown suspects took stereo equipment.
