LANSING, MI – Dairy farmer William “Hank” Choate never imagined himself as a defendant in a high-profile criminal case.

He felt relief on Tuesday, Sept. 9, when a Lansing judge dismissed allegations against Choate and 14 other defendants accused of acting as “fake electors” in the 2020 election by signing documents to certify electoral votes for President Donald Trump.
