Alongside the base iPhone 17 and iPhone Air , Apple has introduced the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max with a new design. Both new iPhone 17 Pro models have that cool new design, with the Pro offering a 6.3-inch display and the Pro Max featuring a 6.9-in model.

Similar to the iPhone Air, the new Ceramic Shield protects both the back and the front of the handset. The new iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max offers a new Apple design vapour chamber with deonized water to help keep thermals down and to keep up performance. The company says its new aerospace alloy offers 20x better thermal than the previous Apple titanium. The glass on the back has been replaced by ceramic shield as its 4x more resistance to glass than previous models.
