PHOENIX (AZFamily) — We just said goodbye to summer, and many people are already worried about holiday shopping.
“We see about four in 10 holiday shoppers are concerned about higher prices,” Bankrate’s Ted Rossman said.
According to a recent Bankrate survey , 30% of people say they will spend less on the holidays this year than they did last holiday season, while 27% say they will spend more.
“I know the inflation rate has come down a lot if we look at month-over-month and year-over-year,” Rossman said. “If we zoom out though, prices have risen about 25% since the beginning of 2021, so we’re feeling that cumulative effect.”
Tariffs are also a factor in how we feel about prices.
