PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Testimony is underway in the murder trial for a man accused of murdering his estranged wife and two children at a Phoenix apartment complex on Christmas 2017.

The popular vegan chef, Anthony Milan Ross , was well-known across the Phoenix metro area, making numerous appearances on local television. In January 2017, he was interviewed on Good Morning Arizona at a Scottsdale Food Festival.

Eleven months later, Ross appeared before a judge, where he was accused of murdering his family.

According to court records, witnesses saw Ross shoot his estranged wife Iris, then go back inside his apartment off 16th Street and Highland Avenue , sparking a six hour stand off with Phoenix police.
