Authorities have publicly identified two San Diego-area residents who lost their lives over the last week in traffic crashes.

Shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday, 46-year-old Alfredo Trevino of Vista lost control of the motorcycle he was riding on state Route 79 in Julian, according to the county Medical Examiner’s Office .

The southbound two-wheeler veered into oncoming traffic near Harrison Park Road and collided with an SUV, fatally injuring Trevino, the agency reported. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
