TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Cropseyville man has been sentenced in connection to a child sexual exploitation investigation, according to the Rensselaer County District Attorney's Office. Justin Covell, 32, pleaded guilty to possessing a sexual performance by a child.
In January, Covell had been charged for four separate incidents involving the alleged exploitation of minors in Petersburgh, Grafton and Stephentown. The 32-year-old was reportedly formerly employed as a teacher in the Berlin Central School District.
Covell received 10 years of probation. He has also been ordered to register as a sex offender, the DA's Office said.
