CORINTH, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- NEWS10 is remembering a man named Chip Ordway, who passed away over the weekend. Chip was a well-loved fixture in local media and worked for decades in television and radio.

He was also a train enthusiast. He was very involved with the Saratoga Corinth and Hudson Railway, and the organization honored him Monday night by lighting lanterns at the rail station.

NEWS10 spoke with Chip a few years ago about the train rides being offered to families. He said he just loved bringing joy to others.

Chip loved history and never wanted us to forget our past. It is certain, those who got the chance to know him will never forget Chip.
