HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Police have arrested a second suspect in a shooting that took place in Nanakuli Saturday.

The shooting occurred at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday at Zablan Beach.

According to witnesses, a dark-colored sedan pulled up next to a white sedan in the parking lot, and at least one occupant from each vehicle exchanged gunfire before both vehicles fled the area.

A 17-year-old boy was found lying in the road and hospitalized in critical condition. He was pronounced brain dead Monday.

Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center said a 19-year-old man had arrived with a gunshot wound Saturday.

He spoke to officers and said he was at the beach when he was shot, but did not know who shot him, according to HPD.
