MEMPHIS, Tenn. - In an effort to bring Mid-South families together, Memphis-Shelby County Schools will host the 13th annual Suicide Prevention Expo this weekend.

The event takes place from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.

In a news release, MSCS said this year's theme is "Creating Hope by Changing the Narrative" and aims to "bring families together to highlight mental health resources, healing and suicide prevention awareness."

The family-friendly event will feature mental health and community resource vendors, live entertainment and student art displays and food and family activities.

The Suicide Prevention Expo will be held at Craigmont Middle School, located at 3455 Covington Pike in Memphis.
